Yaaay today Kampoong Monster Studios back to codeMeetUp() giving a workshop on Video Editing in Blender 🙂 Aditia A. Pratama, Technical Director of Kampoong Monster taught us how to use Blender powerful features to edit videos and also a bit animation 🙂

We did lots of things!

We had to pay attention very carefully because there was so much details to keep up with 😀

ProCodeCG Kids Regular Coding Class 27 Feb 2016 – Creating Quiz for Other Kids To Do

Today we modified our lengthy GUI Quiz Python codes to be personally designed by each kids. Later on other kids will do the quiz and see how good they are based on the standard 😉

Some kids were given different task, and they did very well 😉

Awa, the youngest kid in the class today is working on Minecraft version of Blockly 🙂

He completed all levels 🙂

And so did Michael and Kevin, they finished it much earlier 😉

And while Kevin gave Awa a help on some levels

… we got a new student from Canada, hello Clarence 🙂

Clarence and his sister caught up very fast 🙂 Seems that they liked the class already (they arrived 30″ before the class ended 😀 )

Malik is working on his quiz code, he had added more button and the next step is to add final scoring.

So everybody has some homework for next week! See you then! 😉

Comics in digital form can be classified based on the application or based on the form.

The production of digital comics is a long and tiring tremendous work. It requires dedication and hardwork.

The distribution of digital comics can be in different formats and applications.

Lots of people came up (after the rain stopped)

Comics have their electronic version too 🙂

These are good references for further research about digital comics.

Today we learned SO MUCH about comics. There are things and details we have never heard or even thought of before.

ProCodeCG Kids Regular Coding Class 20 Feb 2016 – Multiple Choice Quiz in Python

Hello, we’re going a bit advanced today: we create a code to read questions from file and create a GUI for displaying all the questions and answers as multiple choice quiz, also with slider window on the side 😉

It is quite a long code, reaching more than 100 lines 😀 But the kids just type it!

This code runs on Python 2.7 because 3.5 won’t recognize tkMessageBox 😀

Many people happen to see us doing this ask us: “Are you sure this kids understand coding? In Python?!?”. Well, this kids don’t just understand, they can modify it and also make their own 🙂

We got a newcomer today, a little guy named Awa, a 2nd grade 🙂

Awa was given a task to solve some simple logic, algorithm and problem solving exercise  🙂 The dad jumped in to help! 😉

We have lots of things to do next week, but the main problem is that not all laptops have the specs for high consuming applications, and our internet connection is not very reliable lately so we will figure out something that will work for next week! 😉

ProCodeCG Kids Regular Coding Class 13 Feb 2016 – Multiple Choice in Python, Minecraft RedStone and Blockly

Hello! Today we invaded Digilife Dago again 😀

Kids kinda miss this place, they had great experience from our last Coding Camp on December here 🙂

Digilife provide us with lots of facilities: display, AC, internet connection and such a digital ambience 🙂

Today, like usual, we have several threads in class. Some of the kids are working on designing elevator and door with password with RedStone in Minecraft, some of them are working on Python code for multiple choices form and some of them are given intro to coding and algorithm 😉

This is Malik working on his multiple choice code with Tkinter Python 😉

This is Faris and Azriel, doing the same Python thing 🙂

Cinta is designing her own quizzes to be implemented in Python. With Capt. Syahna assisting (while reading books :D)

This is Gaga and Aliyah. Gaga is working on his Minecraft RedStone things and Aliyah is working on Python 🙂

Rizqi is a newcomer but he catches up really quick. He is working on Blockly, while babysitting his brother 🙂 How cute 🙂

And we also have Reza, working on Python, while Ismail and Roni working on their Minecraft Mods 🙂

Kids always gather up when one of them start creating weird or funny codes 😀 Faris is creating a quiz where all the questions are correct :))

Cinta always has LOTS of idea. That’s why this class grows each time: because kids are limitless 😉

This is Roni’s new elevator design! He uses different tricks than last week!

And this is a door controlled with a password. By Gaga 😉

He uses a very complicated gate circuits to make this work!

ProCodeCG Kids Regular Coding Class 6 Feb 2016 – Exploring Minecraft Command Block and Red Stone

Today several kids didn’t show up because they were out of town for a long weekend, but we got lots of newcomers! 😉

Today we explored command block and redstone in Minecraft 🙂 Cinta and Azriel don’t like to play Minecraft so they were given something else: creating quiz in Python, with GUI 😉

This is Roni, he is from Finland but VERY fluent in bahasa and sundanese 😀 He is very nice and can get along with others very quickly. And of course, he is fluent in Minecraft too 😀

At the beginning, Roni’s computer took forever to load Minecraft in singleplayer mode. Thanks to Capt. Fizhan who fixed it by changing some settings so it worked nicely 🙂

Another newcomer is Rizqi. He caught up quickly too, and a very good Minecrafter! He wouldn’t let us ask about what he was doing until he finished it, and he created a trained controlled by redstone! How nice!

And this is Michael and Kevin! Newcomers from last week. They are very good in Minecraft especially redstones, they created amazing things!

Ardi is of course an expert in Minecraft. He can create almost anything! 😀

These two kids are doing totally different thing 😀 Cinta is observing how to read answers for each questions and giving score for every correct ones.

And this is Kevin. They are twins with awesome processing power so it’s like having dual core processor at once 😀

So the class was given a task to create an elevator/lift. This is what Roni created. He created it with water 🙂

At the end of the class Ardi created and showed us a totally awesome cart that moves back and forth with redstone block and rails. So cool! 🙂

We also created some repeater and clock circuits!

This one is a circuit to set time to day and night alternately! How cool! Ardi taught us how to do this! 😉

We will going to explore more about this but next week we are going to do more programming to get the newcomers in the track! 😉

Today we are lucky that the co-founder and CG supervisor of Kampoong MonsterKampoong Monster, Bintang Senja shows us how to make money with Blender 🙂

One of the strategy is by creating connections and sending the right info to the right people. LinkedIn is a very good tool to connect with many prospects while also shows your profile in details. MailChimp is very useful for broadcasting emails.

Blender has BlenderNetwork where people can outsource job or find job related to Blender skills.

Envato is a creative ecosystem, it is a marketplace for images, themes, project files and creative assets.
