We learned about more JavaScript and UI/UX Design 🙂
We took a look at some great design examples
And did some code dissection
Each mom was given an assignment to make a sketch of their web design 🙂
We’re going to learn some Bootstrap this Thursday and we’ll see how to make this design come true 🙂

Danen finally joined the class, and started to create a game with GameMaker 🙂
Danen was really excited about the game 🙂
After creating several levels with different level of difficulties, Danen learned to display scores
Adin was given a hard task: to create tetris with GameMaker 😀
Adin finished it but there was still some bugs
The left and right key are still not working and we will fix it next week 🙂
We had Mayra and Judson visiting the class to see what we’re doing 🙂
Both were given tasks to do
And finally they did it in teamwork 🙂

Azriel was given task to finish his JavaScript code in Minecraft
Last week he had successfully created a code that count how many blocks being destroyed by a player
Today he finally finished a code that count how many blocks being placed 🙂 See that both codes works 😉
J was given a challenge to create an adder 🙂 Judson helped him with some ideas 🙂
J created an adder that sum 1 + 1 = 2 🙂
The challenge for next week is to create a vending machine and a running text on a building 🙂
Day #6 of ProCodeCG Coding Mom 🙂
Today we learned JavaScript 🙂
Creating buttons and functions
and displaying a pop up message
Coding is hard but it is also fun 🙂
And Moms help each other to make things work 😉

The last day of ProCodeCG – BDV – codeMeetUp() #116 IoT Series 🙂
Today we made sure everybody could follow what have been learnt in the previous class
After we’re sure that everybody can gather data from temperature and humidity sensor, we moved on to connecting it to the cloud
Then we learned IoT & MQTT
And experimenting with publishing and subscribing to MQTT 🙂
We can do it from mobile apps too 🙂
We can control (and being controlled LED) of any ESPectro subscribing to “led1” topic and can send and receive text to anyone subscribing and publishing to “pesan” topic
At the end we learned to continuously publish data to MQTT, and the next step is to send temperature and humidity data

Day #5 🙂 Today we learned about taking pictures and image editing 🙂
Good pictures are essential for web design, so we learned how to capture and produce nice pics 🙂
Each mom tried to take pics using a DLSR camera
We taught moms about the setting, how lenses work and how to set focus, aperture and exposure
Then we process the pics on the computer
or using mobile apps
Then we learned about typeface and fonts
we learned about typography and how to choose the appropriate typeface
After that, moms had to apply what had been learned to their own websites 🙂
While also learning from CodeAcademy learn more syntaxes and to do some exercises
We will learn JavaScript on the next class 😉
Hello 5th Graders 🙂 Today we learned basic programming with Minecraft Hour of Code before we started to learn how to create games 🙂
The certificate of completion and the proud faces 😉
Then we created games with GameMaker 🙂
Each kids created their own sprites 🙂
And one kid had finished his own game 🙂 Impressive 🙂

The class
Al wanted to learn Minecraft Modding today, Capt. Faris helped him installing Spigot Server and other stuff
Al started to learn creating structures using JavaScript in Minecraft. This one is creating box

And then Al tried some other commands in JavaScript
Like creating a rainbow 🙂
While Nanin was given an idea to create a Tamagotchi Game by Capt. Azriel 🙂
The Tamagotchi pet is a cat. It has to be given love, presents and it needs to be cleaned too 🙂
Capt. Azriel said, it took at least two classes to finish the game 🙂
Tyo (red shirt) was working on a new project: generating invoice with Java 🙂
We had some problems with the layout so Capt. Faris helped. This is a real project that will be used by Tyo’s parent to print invoice 🙂 Nice 🙂
Azriel continued his Minecraft Modding and moved on to more difficult codes
The code will give notifications and score each time a player place or destroy a block 🙂
Spigot needed some adjustments because some commands from Scriptcraft didn’t work on this one. Capt. Faris fixed it
And it worked 😉
Jesse (red hat) and Jackson (grey sweatshirt) were supposed to do Minecraft Modding
But Jackson’s laptop didn’t work so he use his tablet do programming exercise on Code.org, while Jesse continue to learn Javascript basic commands on Minecraft
J was still working on his previous project: building a secure building in Minecraft
it involves lots of command blocks
and lots of automatization process
This room light up the torch one by one and J was working on turning them off one by one 😉
Capt. Faris was given a task to count objects in a picture/video so he was busy learning on how to train TensorFlow and make it counting objects
It requires lot so of coding and libraries 🙂 Good luck 🙂

Hello! Today we only have Koosha working on Arduino/ESPectro Programming but with lots of progress 🙂
Koosha came with a new project in mind 😀
He was working on an elevator project but today, apparently Koosha had something else in mind 😉

Coding Mom Day #4 🙂
Today we fill in the attendance list on GitHub as usual
And then learned more HTML and CSS
Added some pics and video to the website
And then learned how to create columns with CSS 🙂
Going to add JavaScript on the next class 🙂
