ProCodeCG Kids Regular Coding Class – 24 Feb 2018

We’re back! 🙂

Kinan was back and ready to continue the work 🙂

Kinan created nice looking RaceCar game 🙂 We had a problem with drawing so we find some pics from the internet 😀

with coins too 🙂 (Silmi helped us to create this name)

Koosha was also back after a looong time!

He brought lots of stuff 🙂

And he revisited the last projects 🙂 This one is an NFC reader circuit. He will display the reading to the LCD

We had successfully displayed the data to LCD

but not yet succeeded simulating e-money when some amount of money deducted from the card 🙂

Then Koosha moved on to the other project: elevator project 🙂

The button wouldn’t turn the LED on so he unscrewed the box and check the connection inside 😀

Capt. Faris still working hard on our TensorFlow project. Cloud computing didn’t work because internet was too slow. So we have to figure out something else.

Welcome to the class Sam 😉 Sam visited the class 2 weeks ago and today he joined the class 🙂

Sam finished all the levels even the hardest one. He worked for 3 straight hours and finished LOTS of levels!!!

Azriel also continued his smart home project 🙂 He added a swimming pool that can be filled with water with a switch

Nafis started to install MQTT Dash on his Android phone because he was going to learn how to control a LED with cloud 🙂

He had assembled the LED on the board but not yet finished the code 🙂 *this is some kind of cousins bonding time 😀

It is working nicely. There was some glitches and we sorted them out 🙂

Firaas also created his own game with animation 🙂 He’s going to add lots of things to it as soon as he got more ideas about the game, because he invented this one by himself 🙂

The servo didn’t work so he had to debug the problem

the servo is supposed to rotate so the ultrasonic sensor mounted on top of it will read the obstacles in front of this vehicle 🙂

Silmi (purple hijab) started to create a flappy bird game 🙂

Silmi is very good at creating sprites 🙂 That’s why we keep asking her to help Kinan 😀

Tyo’s project keeps progressing

ProCodeCG – Darul Hikam – Coding Class – 23 Feb 2018

Our regular coding class at Darul Hikam Elementary School 🙂

Captain on duty was busy preparing the class 😉

There was only one student today, the others had to attend a preparation for some event. Well, the class kept going with one happy student, yaay 🙂

Capt. Awa assisted Adryan to learn to create a new game: a race car game 🙂

ProCodeCG Kids Regular Coding Class – 17 Feb 2018

Our regular favorite thing 🙂

Silmi forgot to save her work last time

so she had to start from scratch again

and she recovered real soon 🙂

Danen upgraded his game and added more interesting features: the main character now can shoot 🙂

Danen also added a feature so the enemy can chase the main character 😀

Ozan now move on to a new topic: connecting to cloud to control stuff, for this case: a LED 🙂

we connect to hivemq for the MQTT connection

The LED was ready, and the code too

We subscribe to the topic, and start testing receiving and sending message. It worked 🙂

Now Ozan can control a LED from his Android phone 😉

We can also add more widgets to control things, we’re going to control brightness of LED next week 🙂

Firaas made lots of progress because he kept working on the game at home 😉

He recreated this RaceCar Game (he lost the one he created last time because he didn’t save it :D)

Firaas helped Danen to make the enemy chasing the main character 😀

This is Firaas’ second game. He added secret passage and also made the main character shoot 🙂

Capt. Faris continued exploring ProCodeCG cloud computing server

we tried to run things up there

Pak Budi came to give Faris a briefing about Machine Learning and the project

Jundy joined in because Faris asked Jundy to run the training process on his laptop 😀

After the briefing this two guys installed Tensorflow on Jundy’s laptop and run a training 🙂

Vian was still doing a project with Ain 🙂

Jundy helped Fathan *because they’ve known each other, Fathan goes to the same class as Jundy

ProCodeCG – BDV – Intro to Python Programming – Day 2 & 3 – 19 Feb 2018

The last day of ProCodeCG – BDV – Intro to Python Programming 🙂

We had 42 people joining the class till the end 🙂

Today we learned more about Python simple and straight implementation, including creating GUI, text processing and a bit of simple cryptography 😉

Aidia was working on a Minecraft project: to create and build structures

When Aidia’s laptop stop working then they collaborated to do the projects 🙂

Sam will start the class next week and he was just looking around and see what what the kids were doing 🙂 He even helped Sulaiman to debug the code 😉

We checked the homework and did some live coding

we learned some if-elif-else and creating simple GUIs

There were lots of people joining the class, divided into three classes 🙂 This one was the main class

ProCodeCG – BDV – Intro to Python Programming – Day 1 – 5 Feb 2018

Today we’re so glad to be able to share how to do Python Programming at Telkom Bandung Digital Valley 🙂

There were almost 60 people joining in so we had to split the room 🙂

We had two kids in the class 🙂

This is the first session of 4 sessions

Today we learned about IDLE and some basic Python logics 🙂 There were homeworks to be done during the week 🙂
