we finally found this code and it worked!!!

we added it to our code

and yaaayy now we got the score following the camera view! Next is to add lives 🙂

 

Khalis learns several things today

First he continued the Blockly Games challenge

and then modified his BreakOut Game in GameMaker

And then learned some basic programming with Minecraft Hour of Code

This is good for exercising 🙂

Arsa had some animations challenge to be done today 🙂

The challenge is getting harder each time 😀 This one is only animating two arms

and this one is animating two hands and two legs 🙂

Daffa accepted the challenge to do some schematic wiring today 🙂

The project is Traffic Light with Pedestrian Button. Daffa do the wiring and Faisal will do the code

Time’s up and we had to continue it on the next class. There comes bigger problem: Faisal almost couldn’t decide whether to undo the wiring or keep it that way until the next week 😀 He hated to see untidy stuff 😀

ProCodeCG Kids Coding Camp – Creating Apps – Day #1 – 21 Dec 2017

Day #1 of Kids Coding Camp – Creating Apps 🙂

We only have Faiz in class but don’t worry it won’t be less fun! 🙂

Faiz had to go through Blockly Games to learn some basic programming logics 🙂

Besides, Blockly Games has the drag and drop style similar as Thunkable 🙂

After Faiz got enough of warming up, this is the Faiz’s first app 🙂

The second app is a login app

this is what happens when you put the wrong user or password

When you enter the correct username and password, it will open the next screen (this one is still blank :))

Apps number three: an app that tells you whether a number is odd or even 🙂

App number 4: a guessing number app 🙂 This is the code

The result 🙂

It will show how many attempts until the player finally guess the correct number 🙂

The app will tell whether the guess is too small or too big number

Finally, after 11 attempts 🙂

Faiz is working on a Calculator App but he will continue it tomorrow 😉 See you soon Faiz 🙂

ProCodeCG Kids Regular Coding Class – Open Topics – 7 Oct 2017

Our open topics class this week 🙂

Capt. Faris, like usual was very busy with the research 🙂

Faris started to train his AI to recognize some logo

There was still some errors, Ain will fix it at home 🙂

Adin was unstoppable 🙂 He finished all levels for Intro to Programming 😀

Next week he certainly can move to the next level 😉

Too bad we didn’t take a picture of Tyo, who was celebrating his birthday and working on a very cool project: reading weather data to be processed with Java. But we had problems with accessing the APIs and libraries so Tyo decided to create chatting apps in Java next week! 🙂

 

 

ProCodeCG – 5 Days Kids Coding Crash Course – Day #2 – 9 Aug 2017

Day #2 🙂 Ghazaska Mom was there all the time doing paperworks while the kids learned more about programming 🙂

Today we learn and practice more about programming logic

so that he will get used to solve problems with sequences, looping, conditionals 🙂

adding more complexity with x and y axis plus direction 🙂

Ghazaska don’t give up easily. But he needs to take a break once in a while, just like other kids usually do: Minecraft / YouTube 🙂

We will learn to create game on Day #3, but before creating our own games, we learn to do coding with games 🙂 CodeCombat 🙂

Today Ghazaska learned some Python language 🙂

He finished enough levels to be able to move to the next lesson, next week 😉

Next week we will create our own games 🙂

Hello! First day of Ramadhan and kids are still on top performance in coding 🙂

ProCodeCG Kids Coding Camp – Creating Apps Day #1 – 2 Jan 2017

Hello! Day #1 of Creating Apps 😉

Areli and Mom arrived earlier than us today and the set up the class so neatly, thanks Areli and Mom! 🙂

Let’s introduce our apps programmers in the class today: Indra

We warmed ourself up by doing challenges on Blockly Games so we will be used to the syntax and the nature of Thunkable programming

We have lots of trails of different kind of challenges 🙂

After lunch we started creating our own Android apps! We create the apps using Thunkable and then generate this QR Code to be scanned by any Android phones using the same network and the app will be downloaded right into the phone and ready to use! 😉

Ardian and Mike still had trouble with their phone and the simulator so we will definitely try again tomorrow 🙂

ProCodeCG Kids Regular Coding Class – Intro to Programming, GameMaker, Java Programming, Apps Programming

Hello, some of the kids didn’t come today but we had enough kids to do each topics of this class 🙂

Pru and Cinta (not in the pic) were working on creating apps

Pru misses several classes so she took sometime to recall the lesson from the last class 🙂 While Cinta was getting ready to create a new apps: attendance list app 🙂

Vian is still very busy with his game assets. He said he had no idea for the game today, he just wanted to create sprites 🙂 Hope you’ll get them back soon, Vian 🙂

Hello J! J had done the code on the handout before he came to the class 🙂 He is going to explore more about creating an order list with price 🙂

Hello, Fadhil is back after a while! He started the intro to programming with Blockly Games 🙂

J had some problems with radio button action listener because radio button group cannot have action listener

Sure it is a difficult task. We’ll figure out some simpler way to do it, J 🙂

The apps Prudence was working on

After that one was finished, Pru started to create the Xylophone app 🙂

Rafi finished the game 🙂

But he needs to add score. And live and health level if possible 😉

ProCodeCG Kids Half-Day Coding Camp for Beginner Day 3

Day 3! Today we worked in groups creating games and solving problems!

Teamwork is one of important aspects should be taught in every ProCodeCG’s classes

When we’re doing this, time flies 🙂

Ara, insisted to sit on his favorite corner, without carpets and without table 😀

There are also lots of bonding and friendship grow in this camp! ❤

It is a “Hi!” from all of us! 🙂

And Ara is still there until the end :))

ProCodeCG Kids Programming Class 20 June 2015- Solving Problems

This is our class today!

There are problems with internet connection but it wouldn’t stop us going 😉

Today we explore problem solving by with Code Combat 🙂

We also have three students here, the winner of ProCodeCG Voucher from Festival Anak Bertanya last Tuesday 🙂 They are very passionate about programming, they work together to do problem solving in Blockly Games.

Kids can be very quiet and peaceful doing these programming things 😀 They just won’t stop until they get it done :))

Some of them use JavaScript, some of them use Python, and one of them choose Lua 😀

This class is not only about programming, it is also about teamwork, sharing and leadership too 😉

This is one of senior students gives tutorial to the new ones 😉 How sweet 😉

Next week we probably will miss the Saturday regular class because we are going to start Coding Camp for Beginner, 28 – 30 June 2015 😉
