We picked up were we left yesterday. Some of the kids working on the Race Car Game

Some started to make BreakOut Gam

Some adding more features to their Maze Game

This is how the kids interact with each other in the class

They work together, play together

Discuss things and exchange ideas

And by having a kids tutor, the kids are more open to accept advices 🙂 This is Capt. Ain explaining things 🙂

 

Then the kids started to create Flappy Bird Game

or invent their own game 😀

The best thing is when kids try to play other kids game 🙂

“I am eating vegetables!” said Ghassan proudly *Bagas and Arkan sitting next to him tossed him their vegetables and Ghassad had to eat them all LOL

Lots of creative invention and progress today

But kids instinct to play with real objects can never be replaced, so let him! 🙂

Yaaay the kids now are able to create their own games 🙂 This is them with the certificates 🙂

ProCodeCG Kids Coding Camp – Creating Games – Day #3!

Today we finished what we hadn’t finished yesterday and creating a new more game PLUS a game created from scratch by each kids 🙂

The game we learned today is a game called Agario 🙂

This is a quite complex game because some of the sprite should spawn at random position with random colors

and a sprite will wander around by itself eating others and grow bigger

and another sprite has to eat as much food as it can while avoiding the green circle

Let’s see what the kids have created today 🙂

ProCodeCG Kids Coding Camp – Creating Games – Day #3! The last day!

There were some kids arrived late so Capt. Reza helped them to catch up 🙂

Capt. Zaki lead the class but refuse to be captured in camera 😀

Capt. Zaki made some improvements to our Flappy Bird Game so it became smoother and feels real! 🙂

Capt. Cinta explained about her game, named Trash Game

The game is quite complex, it has many sprites and objects. It is about sorting trash and put it into the right trash can

The game displays highscores table too

This control room was full of captains 😀  Great teamwork!

The next game was Agario! This is about a circle eating other circle while avoiding another circle virus 😀

This little cutie, Nanin, create her own game named “Finding Dory”. Capt. Reza, Capt. Cinta and Capt. Syahna gave her assistance 🙂

And at the end of the class all the kid got their certificates and we prepared to take some pics 🙂

Yaay we’re now certified as Junior Game Developers 😉
