and then adding a counting down info and the status of the water pump 🙂

Josh’s saga continues 🙂 The competition is around the corner, meaning that we should work harder 🙂
Today Josh is learning how an ultrasonic sensor work
he should fix his own code when there’s any error messages 🙂
after the testing, Josh will add buzzer
and make both component work 😉
there will be more errors when you add more lines of code, but this is how Josh learns how to debug a code
now adding a LED, the circuit is getting more complex 🙂
and then Josh will combine all the codes to control this 😉

Today we’re going to go through all the components being used in Josh Smart Aquarium Project 🙂

A VERY IMPORTANT MEETING related to Fadhlan’s preparation to go to Russia for an International Competition 😉

And the robot needed some tinkering to make it work again because Fadhlan had built it from scratch
The judges
One of the judges: Pak Janto V. Sulungbudi, lend us 18650 awt batteries, he helped installing the batteries too 🙂
Still not working, must be the wiring or bad wires
So we had to delay the demo until we make this work 😀
We did everything: change the power supply, add it, connect it in parallel, in serial, divide them and all, still not working. Everything on the breadboard that connected to Arduino works, but the wheels just wouldn’t.
We checked the wheels and the DC motors by giving power directly and they worked properly. we suspect the motor controller but we didn’t bring any spares.
We worked for hours. After lots cups of coffee and tea 😀
We did soldering, and unsoldering, and then it left us with one possibility: wires connecting to the dc motors. And after we changes them, it works! 😀 Fadhlan glue gunned the connecting wires to secure them and apparently it burned the wires and make them stop working (next time no glue-gunning connecting wires!)
Back to the judges
Ok the robot worked nicely, only the ultrasonic sensor didn’t give any readings. Must be the wires 🙂 But at least now we know what the problem is 🙂
Judges gave suggestions on what to do to upgrade the robot, and we have to make weekly reports. This is a very valuable experience and a great honour for ProCodeCG to be a part of this awesome event. We’ll be working on this for a year, if we make it to the next stage, we’ll see 🙂

Yessss, we’re going to final!!!
That means after a long day of presentation and demo, Fadhlan still have to work overtime to test and improve the robot to make sure it works perfectly tomorrow 🙂
And it worked nicely, successfully avoiding every obstacle in its sensor height range
We tested the robot many times with different obstacles setting, and different source of power too
Yep, finally we’re so ready for tomorrow!

ProCodeCG Kids Half-Day Coding Camp for Intermediate Day 3!
We have a problem solving competition 😉
Kids are working in groups. This is Naufal and Ardi.

Like usual, after about 2 hours we take a break and do some stretching/yoga 😉
This is the winner of problem solving competition: Athaa – Azriel, Binar – Yumni. These two teams have got exactly the same score 😀
