ProCodeCG Kids Regular Coding Class – Online – 28 Mar 2020

Our regular coding class – online again 😉

Fadhlan is fixing an iPhone 6 today 🙂 we have to buy some spare parts and see if the dead phone can be resurrected  😉

Capt. Awa

is working on Blender and Minecraft projects 😉

Boy is making animations with Blender

and then creates a game related to COVID-19

named “Five Nights at Covid-19” 🙂

Badi is still developing a website that gives information about COVID-19. we browse some example to give us ideas about the design

and we’re going to upload it to GitHub.io so people can access it 🙂

it is uploaded! 🙂

now we’re going to add some statistics to the website, and we’re doing it in team *we use GitHub and Visual Studio Code to share the codes and do realtime programming together 😉

AlFattan is developing a machine learning to detect whether a person has COVID-19 or not 🙂

Al is doing some research to get the information about the symptoms etc

creating sprites and making the codes

finding backgrounds

and it works! 🙂 Al is always get things done! 🙂

Capt. Faris is doing lots of research to support our projects

including how to do coding online together 🙂

Aidia is building structures in Minecraft and soon should implement some RedStone circuits 🙂

Vian didn’t want to share screen but he’s developing a game in Roblox 😉

some of the works cannot be reported visually in here because the kids don’t use zoom on their laptop so they cannot share screen. Kinan is still developing a new game and today she’s preparing the assets. Koosha is also very busy setting up a server 🙂

ProCodeCG – Coding Mum Disabilitas – BDV – 9 April 2018

After a week learning HTML, CSS and bootstrap, today is the presentation day of Coding Mum Disabilitas Bandung 🙂 ProCodeCG as Bandung Coordinator would like to thank Bekraf, Kolla, Bandung Digital Valley, the mentors and interpreters, and for all the support to make this happen 🙂

The first presentation: Evi Riandhini (deaf), created a website to display variety of food being served at Kedai Ragawangi. Evi can talk very clearly.

Dadi Rosida created a website for Desa Tenjolaut. He used lots of difficult coding with HTML, CSS and PHP.

Herwin Hermansyah (deaf). He does not talk, and do the presentation full in sign language.

Herwin created a website that lists museums in West Java because he likes museum very much 🙂

Putri Nur Agustin (handicapped) created a website for a showcase of her handmade macrame bags 🙂

She had learned to create macrame products for about 3 years and she named the product as Tas Talikur

Dian Monika (low vision) was a very active person before she gradually losing her vision. Now she only has 30% of vision but she is very confident and independent. Hoping that the vision will get better because she had undergone many surgeries.

Dian used to travel a lot and make videos about interesting places. She created a website about traveling for the handicapped persons so they can also find places interesting to visit. Dian put some videos she created when she still has 100% vision so that the blind ones can still get the information from the website because she put clear narrations and good music in the videos.

Al-Islamabad (deaf). He created a website for his business.

While Israidha Riviani Rivai created a guest house website

Eunike Aginta Sitepu (half blind) created a website for her almond milk product: Tabo Fresh 🙂

She brought some samples that quickly got sold and we had to do PO to get the product 🙂

Mira Ratnawulan (deaf) is a hip hop dancer 🙂 She created a website about hip hop dancers, of course 🙂

These two are observers that also join the class: Yassir Arafat

and Dwi Ayuni. Both created websites related to the community they are closely observing: the disabilities 🙂

It was a great experience to see this Avengers showing their superpowers! We’re planning to make more classes for the disables in Bandung 🙂 Pray for us! 🙂

ProCodeCG – Coding Mum Disabilitas – BDV – 2 April 2018

ProCodeCG is very proud to be given the responsibility as Coding Mum Difable Coordinator for Bandung 🙂

There is one lead instructor (right), a sign language interpreter (left) and 3 assistant instructors in the class

There are 14 students

Each one is being supervised personally 🙂

These students are amazing!

They started to learn CSS today 🙂

We learned how to introduce self in sign language 🙂

This shirt is very helpful 😀

So proud of this good cause! We wish to do more classes like this in Bandung 🙂

Day #13 already!

Time to get ready for the final presentation 🙂

Today there were only 2 out of 5 could make it to the class

and they made huge progress with their projects 🙂 This one working on Google Maps

and the other working on the design

super awesome job 🙂 They’ll be great on the presentation 🙂 We’re still monitoring the ones didn’t attend the class 🙂 Hoping they can catch up! 🙂

We learned deeper about Bootstrap

And then we started to learn PHP after installing XAMPP 🙂

Next class we will learn about database and MySQL 🙂

We re-learned HTML, CSS and JS and put them all together 🙂

We did some tricks to to make the paragraph disappear 🙂

And then we started to learn responsive design

And of course: Bootstrap 😉

We took a look at some great design examples

And did some code dissection

Each mom was given an assignment to make a sketch of their web design 🙂

We’re going to learn some Bootstrap this Thursday and we’ll see how to make this design come true 🙂

Day #6 of ProCodeCG Coding Mom 🙂

Today we learned JavaScript 🙂

Creating buttons and functions

and displaying a pop up message

Coding is hard but it is also fun 🙂

ProCodeCG Coding Mom Batch 4 – Day #5 – 20 Nov 2017

Day #5 🙂 Today we learned about taking pictures and image editing 🙂

Good pictures are essential for web design, so we learned how to capture and produce nice pics 🙂

Each mom tried to take pics using a DLSR camera

We taught moms about the setting, how lenses work and how to set focus, aperture and exposure

Then we process the pics on the computer

or using mobile apps

Then we learned about typeface and fonts

we learned about typography and how to choose the appropriate typeface

After that, moms had to apply what had been learned to their own websites 🙂

While also learning from CodeAcademy learn more syntaxes and to do some exercises

We will learn JavaScript on the next class 😉
