Road to Russia Saga continues 😉 We’re working on SNAPBOT I and SNAPBOT II today 😀

SNAPBOT I

SNAPBOT II

The first thing we do is interfacing an optical mouse to Arduino

we will put this on SNAPBOT II so we can get the trail of the movement by reading the x and y of the mouse

we have to carefully check the pin out and datasheet to make sure which port goes to where 😀

we use wires to check if we can read the data

we print the address but not yet getting the correct reading

and then start soldering

but we have written the code to read x and y from the mouse, and also the code to display the reading into some movement trails like this  

still got LOTS of work to do but we won’t stop! we’ll be back soon for more update and progress!

ProCodeCG – Coding Camp – Robotics – Day #2 – 12 July 2019

Ok, Day #2 of Robotics Coding Camp: time to assembly the robot and test it 😉

now the robot works, time to secure the bolts, tighten the wires and do some soldering 😉

and then test it again 😉

and some components still needed to be glued to make sure they don’t fall apart when the robot is navigating

The robot can navigate everywhere without hitting anything 😉 It took some time for it when it find a corner and get out from there 😀

something stopped working

so we have to do debugging (actually good for learning process 😉 )

we tested all the components and change the wires and then the robot started working perfectly again. apparently some of the wires stopped working after Joe glue gunned them 😀

Hafiz is the last Machine Learning participants who hadn’t finished the class because he had been feeling not well two days ago 🙂

Hafiz is creating an AI that can suggest you to go to places fits your interests 🙂

3 days before the competition! Loads of things to do 🙂

Today Fadhlan is going to load all those stuff on top of the robot 🙂

We use velcro to stick the batteries to the robot

Okay it’s now ready for testing

We tested ultrasonic sensor, micro servo, button, buzzer and the button, and the motor of course 😉

ProCodeCG Kids Regular Coding Class – 10 Nov 2018

Today is a very frantic day 🙂 We had to bring equipments because the venue were fully occupied, plus the traffic were unbelievable, and we arrived to the class almost one hour late!

But the class was full like usual 🙂

We’re preparing for upcoming festival and another round of competition 🙂

We have to test the robot and make sure it works perfectly and then added more features and optimize it

ProCodeCG Kids Regular Coding Class – 13 Oct 2018

This is one of the reasons why we like weekends so much, especially Saturday morning! 😉

Fauzan was now ready to learn GameMaker 🙂

Koosha came with his Safe Box project

It will open if you enter the correct password. After 3 failed attempts it will beep 😀

The locking system uses a micro servo 🙂 Very creative 🙂

Koosh modified the code so that after beeping the box will be ready to accept input again

The next project is thermostat 🙂 The lamp will turn on if the temperature is cold and the fan will turn on if the temperature is hot 😉

ProCodeCG Kids Private Robotic Class – 27 Sept 2018

Hardwork afterschool 🙂

The robot was ready and the code was all set and uploaded but apparently the structure was not strong enough so Fadhlan needed to secure all the joints and connector to make it sturdier when it wanders around avoiding obstacles

We also needed to add power source for the motor, that meant we had to shop more components and the re-assembling process can be done after all the components arrived

The code is all set. After the robot is ready we’re going to do some testing and measurement to make tables and graphics and put it in our poster
