Just a few days left! We’ve got to work HARDDDDD!!! we finished the class last night and going to have another private class tonight and we just left the room like this 😀

Listing things to bring and also we need to shop some more stuff

the tense is getting higher so we have to LAUGH MORE and EAT MORE 😀 😀 😀

Road to Russia saga continues 🙂

Fadhlan has created an awesome PPT *for a 1000th time 😀

And it is getting better and better 🙂 He is truly a hardworker 🙂

Today Fadhlan will rewire SNAPBOT I because it has stopped working since we tested it with PWM control and migrate it to Arduino Mega

and today we’re going to dissect another mouse. We have crushed 1 USB mouse, dissect and test 2 USB mouse, buy a wireless mouse but then found an easier way with PS2 mouse that we’re going to test today

ProCodeCG Kids Private Class – Robotics – 16 Sept 2019

the saga continues… SNAPBOTS Road to Russia 🙂 this is the room before the saga started 😀

we’re setting up camera to capture our activity today 😀

lots of things to do, especially hacking mouse chip to read robot movements but we’re still struggling with reading the data because we haven’t got the correct data sheet 😦

SNAPBOT II is powered with Arduino Mega and navigates really well. What we are going to do is adding mouse reading and broadcast it via bluetooth to display a map on a laptop/PC

hacking the mouse is not as easy as we thought 😀

well if what we’ve been doing is easy, we wouldn’t have come this far 😉

we also added a potentiometer to SNAPBOT I to control the PWM so we can adjust the speed of the wheels

Fayza, Fadhlan’s older sister is also in the same competition this year 🙂 Good luck all! 🙂

Road to Russia Saga continues 😉 We’re working on SNAPBOT I and SNAPBOT II today 😀

SNAPBOT I

SNAPBOT II

The first thing we do is interfacing an optical mouse to Arduino

we will put this on SNAPBOT II so we can get the trail of the movement by reading the x and y of the mouse

we have to carefully check the pin out and datasheet to make sure which port goes to where 😀

we use wires to check if we can read the data

we print the address but not yet getting the correct reading

and then start soldering

but we have written the code to read x and y from the mouse, and also the code to display the reading into some movement trails like this  

still got LOTS of work to do but we won’t stop! we’ll be back soon for more update and progress!

ProCodeCG Kids Regular Coding Class – 24 Aug 2019

Another super duper hectic productive coding class today 🙂

Adit is still on intro to programming with Minecraft 🙂

and finally finished it 😉

Al done a new machine learning project today 🙂

he chose tic tac toe 🙂

so Al basically will teach the computer to play tic tac toe 😉

He works in high speed and understand the main concepts very fast

Now Clive’s Maze game already has basic features: movement, chasing a target, scoring, and then after reaching a certain score the game will move to the next level 🙂 great work

Aidia is starting a new project: detecting gesture with Arduino 😉

Aidia is also starting a Captain career, she is now often given a task to help new students 😉

Ihsan, welcome to the class 😉

Ihsan is also has to go through the intro to programming

he is given different challenges compared to his younger fellows in class 😉

Ihsan is planning to learn robotics in this class so after finishing the intro to programming he will be given basic electronics lessons 🙂

Fadhlan’s is very nervous today because he’s going to a quarantine preparing for YSC international competition and he has to present his work and the progress before heading to Russia on October 🙂

Fadhlan has to change the Arduino board because the last time we finalising the robot, one pin is broken inside one of the Arduino port 😀 and after Fadhlan moved the cabling to the new Arduino, some functions are not working *look at that panic face 😀

but finally all works 😀 the mapping is working now, all components on the breadboard are functional as well

now testing the robot on the ground 😉

make some code adjustments, and Fadhlan is ready to go! Good luck!!!

Badi is now got lots of projects related to website programming 😀

including adding qr-code on Pavilion19 website to lead the visitor to a Feedback Form 😉

and he did it very well 🙂 next week he will start to add a chatbot on the website 😉

The Beavis and the Butthead 😀 these to has been bestfriends since they are little 🙂 Badi is always supporting Fadhlan and the other way around 😉

Sam is given a new task to add voice activation code to his Object Recognition App for the Blind 🙂

but today Sam chose to continue adding verses to his Juz’amma App 🙂

Ara has just got a new laptop and he is given a task to install virtual box and Kali Linux and all the code like he had in the old laptop. He has to make sure all the experiments we have been doing is also work in this new laptop!

still got some errors

and he took a break to fuel him up 😀

Fab is now going to learn some functions with LightBot 🙂

Yogi is starting a new game and having a headache when given a challenge to create a car bump game. We still cannot figure out how to detect speed of the car and make it stop when we click and move forward again when we click again 🙂

Neo forgot to bring his electronic stuff today so we learn basic of MQTT server and the code to send and retrieve data from MQTT

Syadad is going to learn how to connect Minecraft to Arduino

and he has downloaded the Arduino IDE so we can start coding next week 🙂

Baran is also a newcomer 🙂

He likes the intro to programming

and finished it in a blink 🙂

Al finished a Machine Learning project today

The project is to categorize headlines based on the newspaper 🙂

He’s seriously working hard preparing lots of code for constructing many structures for exhibition 😉

and this week the place and break block count codes is working nicely 🙂

Aidia has to fix the Automatic Railway Gate project, Capt. Awa helped debugging the circuit 🙂 Later, Capt. Faris helped too 🙂 The robot is having some problems too and we’re going to fix it before the exhibition 🙂

Capt. Faris is fully occupied today as soon as he walked in the class, before putting down the backpack, he’s already on duty 😀

Capt. Awa is also busy with his TinyDuino project, while also helping Aidia with the Automatic Railway Gate Project 🙂

Neo has just joining in the class today, he’s got a really serious project for a competition in the next October 🙂

ProCodeCG Kids Regular Coding Class – 3 Aug 2019

Our busy Saturday Coding activities 🙂

Aidia is preparing presentation slides for the exhibition 🙂

She will present at least 3 projects on the exhibition: robot, automatic railway gate system and color sorting machine 🙂

It is unbelievable that a 9 yo can make presentation slides like this 🙂

Capt. Faris is busy with research, being a teaching assistant

and tuning Badi’s ukulele 😀

We just found out that Badi can play ukulele, very nice 🙂

today we had to fix this error. Pavilion19’s website is down because the hosting is rerouting the IP address

we had to report the error to the hosting admin

too busy to get off the chair 😀 😀 D

we sent emails, called the call center, to finally make the website up again. The problem remaining is that we still had to wait to get cpanel activated again

Fadhlan is going to continue compas calibration

this time it is the RFID projects. Awa created a game with RFID 😉

he created LOTS of room and you can imagine how complex the game is 🙂

Kishan keeps improving his game

and make it a very intuitive and interesting game to play 🙂

Kishan also carefully created awesome animations for the sprites, making his game looks very alive!

Syadad has been very seriously preparing coding for upcoming exhibition 😉

He had prepared many codes for building many structures in Minecraft, and going to invent new interesting structures 😉

Azmi is going to learn basic electronics today 😉

Capt. Awa helped Azmi installing Arduino and also copying ProCodeCG Handout to Azmi’s laptop

Azmi looked very interested in assembling things from the very beginning 😉

He is also willing to type in the code line by line. A very rare willingness for a kid 🙂

Finally Azmi got his LED blinking yayyy! 🙂

ProCodeCG Kids Regular Coding Class – 20 July 2019

Wooow today is a very productive because we had a huge coding crowd 😉

Aidia is ready to upgrade her robot: Spicy to be able to “talk” via LCD 😉

the next step is to make sure all components working well and how to tidy up all these components 😀

Faiz finished two challenges today 🙂 the first is Blockly

and the second is Lightbots 🙂

And then Faiz created a full featured Maze Game with GameMaker 😉

Faishal is exploring our network and investigating the security holes 😀

we used LOTS of tools 🙂 and we’re doing several projects 😉

Sam is still working on his Juz’amma App but starting next week he will start a new project to give him some fresh topics and new air 😉

Fadhlan is going to test the robot 😉 and if all is working we’re planning to add LCD too 😉

Capt. Awa has successfully created an Panic Button that will give warning to a cellular phone when the button is pressed

the system works via wifi and we’re going to try using it via mobile network 🙂

but first, playing with an Elder Wand (we’re planning to make our own :D)

ProCodeCG – Coding Camp – Robotics – Day #2 – 12 July 2019

Ok, Day #2 of Robotics Coding Camp: time to assembly the robot and test it 😉

Aidia treats the robot like a pet

now the robot works, time to secure the bolts, tighten the wires and do some soldering 😉

and then test it again 😉

and some components still needed to be glued to make sure they don’t fall apart when the robot is navigating

The robot can navigate everywhere without hitting anything 😉 It took some time for it when it find a corner and get out from there 😀

something stopped working

so we have to do debugging (actually good for learning process 😉 )

we tested all the components and change the wires and then the robot started working perfectly again. apparently some of the wires stopped working after Joe glue gunned them 😀

Hafiz is the last Machine Learning participants who hadn’t finished the class because he had been feeling not well two days ago 🙂

Hafiz is creating an AI that can suggest you to go to places fits your interests 🙂
