ProCodeCG codeMeetUp() #65 – Implementing SCRUM & Design Thinking

Standard

Today we learned a lot about implementing SCRUM & design thinking, how it has been implemented at Labtek Indie (with LOTS tips & tricks!) deliverd byΒ co-founder and CEO of Labtek Indie, Seterhen Akbar (Saska) πŸ˜‰

IMG_8973

Labtek Indie has done many projects using design thinking and for the last few years start using SCRUM methodology.

IMG_8974

Design thinking is

IMG_8975

Where design thinking was started

IMG_8976

An example of design thinking is AirBnB πŸ˜‰ It turned from a failing startup to billion dollar business using design thinking πŸ™‚

IMG_8977

Design thinking requires innovation that is supported by desirability (human), viability (organization) and feasibility (technology)

IMG_8978

The phases of design thinking

IMG_8979

Design thinking is human-centric.

IMG_8980

And then what is SCRUM?

IMG_8981

Two most common methods are waterfall and iterative

IMG_8982

This is how waterfall works

IMG_8983

And this is how iterative works

IMG_8984

While agile manifesto is listed below

IMG_8985

One of Labtek Indie’s expertise is Rapid Prototyping Service

IMG_8986

So the process is very rapid.

IMG_8987

That’s why SCRUM methodology is needed

IMG_8988

An example of a backlog

IMG_8989

Trello as a tool to keep track on each project.

IMG_8990IMG_8991IMG_8992IMG_8993

SCRUM requires sprint planning meeting

IMG_8994

Definition of sprint

IMG_8995

then the review meeting will be in sprint mode also πŸ˜€

IMG_8996

and each sprint will be evaluated in retrospective meeting.

IMG_8997

Effective evaluation parameters
