ProCodeCG Kids Regular Coding Class – Arduino/ESPectro Programming – 14 Oct 2017

Standard

Hello hello! We are reporting our Saturday regular kids coding class πŸ™‚

IMG_9727

IMG_9744

IMG_9780

Cinta spent two sessions working on PCB design and simulation using Proteus πŸ™‚

IMG_9733

She was very excited πŸ™‚

IMG_9761

IMG_9807

Cinta started with resistors, buttons and LED’s

IMG_9731

IMG_9732

Proteus can be connected to Arduino IDE

IMG_9824

Then Cinta added more and more components to her design πŸ™‚

IMG_9806

An awesome way to simulate πŸ™‚ Next lesson Cinta will be given task to simulate a Tic Tac Toe on Arduino πŸ˜‰

IMG_9839

Helloooo Ruben was back πŸ™‚

IMG_9738

This was where we left: creating and ultrasonic counter πŸ™‚

IMG_9739

Capt. Faris helped Ruben with the code

IMG_9759

IMG_9749//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js

And after several debugging, installing, and testing, it worked πŸ™‚

IMG_9763

IMG_9764

And then Ruben was given this: adding buzzer and lamp to the previous one πŸ™‚ So that when the counter reaches certain number, the buzzer will be active and so will the LED πŸ™‚

IMG_9765

IMG_9774

IMG_9779

IMG_9784

Ruben likes to assemble things πŸ™‚

IMG_9785

The LED worked but not yet the buzzer πŸ™‚

IMG_9820

Will work on it next week πŸ˜‰

IMG_9829

Koosha had a new project πŸ™‚

IMG_9772

First he collected the components and the tools

IMG_9773

IMG_9778

Including this light to give better light

IMG_9781

Koosha prepared lots of breadboards, buttons and RGB LEDs

IMG_9786

IMG_9805

He wouldn’t tell what he was doing πŸ˜€

IMG_9821

We had to make lots of guess

IMG_9822

IMG_9825

Until…

IMG_9826

Koosha was working on a Tic Tac Toe on Arduino πŸ™‚

IMG_9827

IMG_9828

Excellent idea! πŸ™‚

IMG_9840

He still has to add more resistors and wires and also the coding, and we will continue working on it next week πŸ™‚

ProCodeCG codeMeetUp() #80 – Pawitra Studio – Fire Simulation in Blender

Standard

Pawitra Studio shared about Fire Simulation in Blender on our 80th codeMeetUp() 5 Sept 2016 πŸ™‚ This is Technical Director of Pawitra Studio: Aditya A. Pratama πŸ˜‰

ProCodeCG Kids Programming Class 21 Nov 2015 – More Physics Simulation with Algodoo

Standard

More Algodoo today! πŸ™‚

IMG_0259

Ardi is still in charge teaching the whole class πŸ™‚

IMG_0263

Capt. Fizhan is also in charge jump starting student who missed last week’s class.

IMG_0264

Our target is to create a boat (or boats) with paddles, and make it sail!

IMG_0260

We don’t just do that, we do experiments on gears too πŸ˜€IMG_0269

Or probably adding gears to the boat..

IMG_0262

Or building the boat from scratch again because apparently it is easy while it’s not! πŸ˜€ Combination of density, shape, center of gravity, placement of paddles and motor speed determines how to boat works! πŸ˜€

IMG_0267IMG_0265

FarisΒ experimenting on ramps πŸ˜€

IMG_0266

Capt. Zaki is creating a water bomb rocket

IMG_0268

And hey, we learned about winch too!

IMG_0271

We make simulations from real life’s example

IMG_0272

We also plot the force, angular speed etc πŸ˜€

There are still lots of things we plan to do next week!

ProCodeCG Kids Programming Class 14 Nov 2015 – Physics Simulation with Algodoo

Standard

Yeah! Today we played with physics simulation using Algodoo πŸ™‚ We can create shapes and objects and apply physics to them.

IMG_9881

The expert of the topic and the instructor today is Lazuardi (Ardi) yaaaay πŸ™‚

IMG_9883

We started by installing the software.

IMG_9884

Then we create a car with two wheels, we added a motor to make it move πŸ™‚

IMG_9885

We also added some tilted planes to see how gravitation works.

IMG_9886

This was soo much fun! πŸ™‚ Even to those sitting further away πŸ˜€

IMG_9887

This is Ardi being busy answering questions and helping other kids πŸ˜€

IMG_9888

Algadoo is so cool we can create almost everything we want and see the simulation

IMG_9889

This is how ProCodeCG Kids Class work: peer-to-peer learning. Ardi is a great teacher, he is so kind and helpful πŸ™‚
IMG_9890

We tried to create a simple car

IMG_9891

To how to create a turret πŸ˜€

IMG_9892

We also took a look on some cool simulation examples

IMG_9893

This is Ardi demonstratingΒ a simple example of creating a boat that can float on water, with some rotors to make it move.

IMG_9894

Can’t wait to see what we will make next week! πŸ™‚
