Standard

It’s been a while since the last class and we have to revisit again what we did the last class 😀

IMG_3946

the first one is to check the bluetooth connection

IMG_3948

successful

IMG_3949

and then testing speech to text app

IMG_3950 IMG_3951

works fine

IMG_3952

and then working on connecting speech to text to Arduino

IMG_3953

still not working

IMG_3955

no sign of text on the serial monitor 😦 we need to work more on this bluetooth connection (same thing happened with the robot project so we really need to figure this out)

and now combining the speech to text code with the code to connect to bluetooth

the arduino and bluetooth

IMG_2291

we did some research about how to control Arduino with Thunkable

ProCodeCG Kids Regular Coding Class – Open Topics – 4 March 2017

Standard

As we promised last week, we did lots of thing today 🙂

Faris was back again 🙂 He tried several things today

IMG_3953

He gave Unreal Engine a try before he started creating apps with Thunkable and Android Studio

IMG_3980

Faris Speech-To-Text app with Thunkable didn’t work

IMG_3999

But this one with Android Studio worked 🙂 We will find out why the Thunkable version didn’t work. Probably because the unstable internet connection

IMG_3992

Pru was working on her array app

IMG_3955

IMG_3968

That finally work 🙂 We missed 2 blocks but after it got fixed then it will work just fine 🙂

IMG_3967

Nanin was back and she finally didn’t refuse to show us her game she had been creating for weeks 😉

IMG_3971

The game was really interesting 🙂

IMG_3972

It has different levels with different levels of difficulty

IMG_3973

No wonder it took her weeks, this game requires lots of work 🙂

IMG_3974

Tyo’s Java code had grown into more and more line of codes and started giving more errors because we keep throwing in more things into it to make our attendance list prototype getting better 🙂 On the left, next to Tyo was Raul working on Combo Box Date. Raul did fix lots of errors and made the code work 🙂

IMG_3981

Capt. Cinta was working on her Speech-to-Text app while assisting Nanin 🙂

IMG_3982

They created game together 🙂 Cinta helped Nanin to draw Snoopy as the sprite of the game 🙂

IMG_3987 2 IMG_3988 2

The girls really had a great time 🙂

IMG_3990

Nanin drew a deer too 🙂 Looks pretty good 🙂

IMG_3991

Cinta finished her Speech-to-Text app and tested it

IMG_3994

Yea it worked! 😉

IMG_3995

Nanin showed us her comic too 🙂 So impressive 🙂

IMG_3996

The title is Let’s Coding in ProCodeCG 😉

IMG_3997

The class was finally packed up with kids 😀

IMG_3984

Got lots of things to do next week! Till then! 🙂
