Day #2 🙂 We’re going to explore tools to teach kids coding 🙂

We go through some of the tools to see the level of difficulties. We try lots of tools to be able decide later which one is most suitable to teach the kids with 🙂

And now time to learn to create games 😉

Not only kids enjoy creating games, teachers and principals too 😀

Today we produce 10 different games 🙂 Everyone in the class has successfully created a Maze Game, with the required basic features 🙂

Will see the class again on Thursday and we’re going to build curriculum and create some learning materials 🙂

ProCodeCG – Yasporbi – Training of Trainer How to Teach Kids Coding – 14 Jan 2019 – Day #1

Day #1 of How to Teach Kids Coding Workshop 🙂 It is an honour for ProCodeCG to be given an opportunity to share some of what we know to these respectable and experienced teachers and principals 🙂

Today we learn some intro to coding kids and information technology

We also take a look at some tools can be used for teaching kids coding, and yes, the teachers have to go through those tools too 🙂

This is a demo of how to create mobile apps 😉 We can teach code with drag and drop coding and then we can download the code to our mobile phones just by scanning the QR-Code 😉

ProCodeCG Goes to Singapore – Coding Mum ToT – 29 Oct 2016

Hello from Singapore! ProCodeCG was invited to give Training of Trainers for Coding Mum Trainers in Singapore 🙂

We arrived before it was raining heavily. Most of the participants arrived late due to the rain.

Coding Mum Classes have been held so far

Next targets after Singapore are Hongkong and Taiwan. Taiwan has more women so we will skip Korea.

The participants 🙂 7 trainers-to-be (2 weren’t able to come) All are IT practitioners, one of them is NUS lecturer.

Well this is the more complete us. We had 2 important guests joining the class later: Sansan and Chera. They are computer instructors for TKI, and shared lots of their important experience teaching TKI 🙂

At the end we got 6 trainers ready to teach Coding Mum in Singapore (expecting 10 but 6 is good enough to start off). Hoping that one of them will be able to give ToT to the next trainers.

We gave socialization to Indonesian Migrant Worker (TKI) the next day 🙂 The report will be coming after this one 🙂

DyCodeX One Day ESPectro Workshop – ToT for ProCodeCG

One of ProCodeCG Kids Coding Curriculum is to teach kids about IT and electronics, including Internet of Things 🙂

We always update our education materials and curriculum to provide kids with the most updated technology. That’s why we’re always doing research and educate ourselves to be able to deliver the knowledge to them 🙂

We are currently doing research on development boards, to see which one fits our curriculum.

These are (on breadboard) previous version of DyCodeX ESPectro and ProCodeCG LED Board), (on top left) Esspressif Board and (on top right) is Arduino Board.

Yesterday ProCodeCG joined a One Day ESPectro by DyCodeX

It was four of us: Budi Rahardjo (ProCodeCG Mentor), Marisa Paryasto (ProCodeCG CEO and Founder), Bernard Krisnandi Soetarman (ProCodeCG Kids Parent) and Clarence Soetarman (ProCodeCG Kids)

It’s us! 🙂

Getting ready. We brought ProCodeCG Arduino Kit because we’re going to add ESPectro board into it 🙂

Provided with coffee, snacks and fast internet connection 🙂

Before we started the workshop, DyCodeX formally gave the ESPectro boards to ProCodeCG

We have already ordered 10 ESPectro Core and 1 ESPectro Base 🙂

DyCode and DyCodeX CEO, Andri Yadi opened the workshop

(On the back) some crews of DyCodeX also joined the workshop 🙂

The instructor of the workshop, Ria (DyCodeX IoT Developer). She thought us how to get ESPectro Library from GitHub and copy them to our Arduino folders so we can compile and upload the code to our ESPectro Board

Andri Yadi showed us the features and details of the board. He explained about the design and how it works.

On the next session, Ali (DyCodeX IoT Developer) showed us how to make NeoPixel work and how to connect to MQTT

ESPectro Core works fine! It’s amazingly loaded with lots of features, including WiFi.

ESPectro Base offers much more. More GPIO’s, more sensors, more connections.

We all were fully loaded with new amazing things! Including this ProCodeCG Kids. He tried all what he had done with Arduino to ESPectro Core 🙂

So we can say that ESPectro Core has gone through QC Test by ProCodeCG Kids and it passed 😉
