We’re back after a long holiday 😉

Lots of things to catch up!

We opened XAMPP again and started learning basic databases and MySQL

happy as always LOL

and serious as always

there will always be different problem to debug on each class 🙂 this one is about activating XAMPP on mac 😀

ProCodeCG Coding Mum Batch 3 – Day #12 – 10 Feb 2017

Day 12 🙂 More PHP and MySQL 😉

Instructors corner 🙂

Next week this class will do a presentation in front of reviewers 🙂

And that makes the class a little bit intense. But nothing to worry though, because the presentation will only cover front-end stuff 🙂

We continued yesterday’s topic about Primary Key, Foreign Key and Constraint

And then learned how to create login form and connect it to the database 😉

We use MD5 to hash the password to show the best practice of storing passwords in a database 🙂

Next week we have Monday and Thursday to prepare for presentation on Friday 🙂

ProCodeCG Coding Mum Batch 3 – Day #11 – 9 Jan 2017

Day #11 🙂 We learned about Database Concepts and Design 😉

We have to introduce what’s under the hood of back-end programming, because the knowledge will be useful to understand the scope of the work given by clients in the future

Today we created several tables, normalized it and make relationships between the tables

We learned about primary and foreign key

How to keep entity integrity, domain integrity and referential integrity

And how to use triggers 🙂

Will learn a bit more tomorrow, and start to do the project next week! 🙂

ProCodeCG Coding Mum Batch 3 – Day #10 – 6 Jan 2017

Day #10. We learned PHP + MySQL 🙂

The pace of Batch 3 is faster than the previous ones. Usually we learn PHP – MySQL on 12th  or 13th class. Probably because we have learnt how to deliver the topics and we keep developing materials to support the learning process. Plus, this batch learns very quickly 🙂

We installed XAMPP and got started 🙂

Creating some simple tables on the database

Creating PHP codes to access the database

So today the Mum is not only learning about front-end programming, but also back-end programming 🙂

Will learn more PHP – MySQL on the next class, while preparing for the final presentation next week 😉

Sorry for the delayed report! This is the report of Day #11 #12 of Coding Mum Weekend Class 🙂

Clarence was also in the class but this time he had to operate the computer for his mum because it was different computer from what his mom has been using in the class, plus the  mum forgot her reading glasses 😀

We continued our PHP MySQL project with XAMPP

We connected the login form to the database 🙂

We found lots of errors and problems. MORE than we had before 😀

While this little one had his own business 😀

After this one, next week these Mums will be given time to work on their projects and do presentation rehearsal 😉

Today we continued our brain torture LOL. We started to create our login page using PHP MySQL 🙂

Clarence was there to, but of course, for different purpose 🙂 Prof. Budi gave him lots of things to do 🙂

So did Louis, he’s always so nice and spend most of the time keeping self busy 🙂

4 days left after today!

The instructors knew that Mums need time to digest every topic so we have prepared handout that we update everytime to keep Mums in track 🙂

Day #10 of Coding Mum – Weekdays! 😉

There is nothing more heartwarming than seeing Mom sharing her activities with their kid(s) 🙂

One of our Coding Alumni, Mba Teti (blue hijab) also visited the class 🙂

The topic was PHP and MySQL with XAMPP 🙂

The topic was getting so much harder, so we added more intern to help, Mba Tita (grey shirt) 🙂

But these Mums always have things to laugh at 😀 They are pretty serious but they know how to have fun 🙂

Coding Mum Day 13 – 13 May 2016

The last topic today: SQL 🙂

Teaching team

Wow time flies! We only have 2 classes left!

And this laptop has on more sticker on it (the owner said she leaves some spaces for ProCodeCG’s stickers 😀 )

We practiced SQL on XAMPP

While one instructor was teaching, the team were listening carefully

… or doing silly things LOL

Mums take more notes because things to remember grow exponentially through time 😀

And more errors more likely to occur 😀

We swear, these two were so busy and serious but every time the camera was ready to take a pic they would act completely different LOL
