IoT Programming Coding Camp Day #3 🙂

Today we connect to a MQTT server to be able to publish and subscribe to a topic so we can control our ESPectro remotely via cloud 🙂

We connected to a MQTT server running on one of the computer of the class and also connected to an online MQTT server 😉

We can control the ESPectro via mobile too 🙂

The lessons today required hard work and patience 🙂

We code till we drop LOL

Day #1 of IoT Programming 🙂 We have 3 kids for this topic 🙂

Today we did some ESPectro setup and configuration, and then started basics about ESPectro. We learned about LED, button and neopixel. We created some cool stuff about neopixel on board, like creating knight rider and traffic light with pedestrian button 😉

ProCodeCG Kids Coding Camp – Creating Mobile Apps – Day #1 – 22 June 2017

There’s only one kid registering to Creating Mobile Apps Coding Camp so we decided to merge the class with IoT Programming Coding Camp 🙂

Capt. Zaki is giving Fikra full supervision for Creating Mobile Apps 😉

Today Fikra learned basic logic and programming with Blockly

Tomorrow Fikra will start to code mobile apps with Thunkable 🙂

We have lots of apps to create, will be reporting about it tomorrow 🙂

ProCodeCG Kids Coding Camp – Minecraft Modding – Day #3 – 21 June 2017

Day 3! Today we had challenges! 🙂

Kids were working on groups to finish the task together 🙂

There are 3 tasks out of 5 to be done:

1. Create a skyscraper in JavaScript, must be different with the example given the day before
2. Create a bridge in JavaScript
3. Create a tunnel in Java Script
4. Create two different structures with RedStone 🙂

So here are the pics of the class and the creations 🙂

We did create igloo and some other event-driven codes too 🙂

Such an awesome class, we really had a great time together 🙂

Today we do more coding 😉

We started by running available javascript codes before creating their own 🙂

We also use simple structures to learn about looping and logics 🙂

We learned some javascript syntax and commands today 🙂 We created rainbows, dance floor, castle, pyramid, cylinder, box, skyscraper, stairs, triangle today 🙂

ProCodeCG Kids Regular Coding Class – Intro to Programming, GameMaker, Java Programming, Minecraft Modding – 17 June 2017

We had new students today 🙂

Welcome to the class, Cello and Sasa 😉

These two spent two classes for Intro to Programming 🙂

They learned about basic programming and logics with Minecraft Hour of Code

And then they learned more about sequences and problem solving with LightBot 🙂

They seemed having a great time, they discussed the lesson together 🙂

We also had a visitor, Aisha, Ozan’s cousin 🙂 She would like to see the class and probably will join us later 🙂

Vian was still busy with his project in Minecraft 🙂

 

Danesh also had his own project in Minecraft 🙂 He even started to collaborate with Vian 🙂

While Rezky continued his first game in GameMaker 🙂

Tyo was busy working on two codes in Java: Attendance List App and TicTacToe 🙂

Tyo keeps progressing each week 🙂 This attendance list will save the data to a text file

Rheino was typing a JavaScript code to be run in Minecraft
