We have survived almost 3 months doing the coding class online and we keep making progress 😉

He created a really awesome game but forgot to save it and lost all the data. Took a while to get him on track again 🙂

Irham is starting to create apps with Thunkable 😉

Fadhlan has got all the components now and ready to gradually deploy codes to SNAPBOT 3 to test all the functions

ProCodeCG – Coding Camp – Robotics – Day #3 – 13 July 2019

Day #3 already of Robotics Coding Camp 🙂 Today we are adding more features to the robot: button to start and stop the robot, LED that will be on when the robot is activated and buzzer to make sound when the robot is scanning the environment 🙂 We also added LCD to show the status of the robot (ready, moving forward, turn to the left, turn to the right and moving backward)

Joe is super excited to upgrade his robot today 😉

Day #3, and everybody should create their own original projects 😉 People wouldn’t believe how creative kids can be with machine learning 😉 Let’s check it out!

ProCodeCG – Darul Hikam – Kids Coding Class – 12 April 2019

Our last class for this semester 😦 Hoping that the next semester there will be enough students to open the class again 🙂 Today we tried to finish our end of the semester projects 🙂

Capt. Awa is leading the Basic Electronics team to create Smart Trash Bins 😉

Daffa has just got his Basic Electronics Toolkit

Daffa is making his first LED project with Arsa watching 😀

Yes, Daffa is definitely more interested in electronics than creating games 😀

Arsa is now working on the Game Project collaboration with Daffa alone 🙂

But he said it is okay 😀

Danen helped Daffa getting started with the kit 🙂 Danen likes teaching and shares what he knows 🙂 He’s very excited showing Daffa how things work and how to fix when there are things not working out 🙂

Hanif’s Flappy Bird project has enter the next phase

We had several versions of the game to see which one working the best

We’re trying every techniques and possibilities to make the game works as expected

 

We checked and modified every setting and finally decide we had to create another version. From scratch 🙂 But at the end of this semester Hanif has achieved lots of progress.

Isma’ill is now has a trash bin to be converted into a smart one 🙂

The trash bin is a little bit too big and we’re thinking hard to figure out how that small micro servo can open it 😀

Khalis is going to finish the game today 🙂

Khalis works very hard like usual, he has completed the most important features in the game 🙂

Next semester Khalis can create new games, or improve this one. The most important thing is, Khalis had learned so much all the way 🙂

ProCodeCG Kids Weekdays Coding Class – 22 Nov 2018

The day before was Kinan’s Birthday, so today we got some snacks yaaay thank you Kinan 🙂

Abiel is still on the quest of adding the long list of sprites in his game 🙂

Justin is also has a long list to do with his game 😉 Justin carefully designs each level and draw each sprites in details

Justin draws the walls and other parts of the room in different colors so they will look nice and neat 🙂

Kinan, the birthday girl is doing lots of improvements to her game 🙂

Kinan also resize and make adjustments to the sprite so they can interacts nicely in the game 😉

ProCodeCG Kids Homeschool Coding Class – 27 Sep 2018

Our weekly midweek awesome activity 😉

Kinar forgot to bring her laptop charger and none of us has the same type so she had to use our Macbook and learn GameMaker Studio 🙂

So Kinan created new sprites 🙂

GameMaker Studio 2 has more features and library compared to GamaMaker Lite but it also has more complex GUI and toolbar 🙂

While Abiel had to split his time between creating games and downloading antivirus because apparently some malware had been slowing his computer down 🙂

Abiel wanted to create a rocket and put it in the game 🙂

Justin still very delicately develop the Maze Game

He wanted the sprites and the room to be as similar as the reference 🙂

Justin had created more levels and next week he will learn how to create an object that will watch the score and make the game move to the next level once it reaches a certain score 🙂

 

The most important thing about learning is that you are having fun in the process 🙂 Will add more features and complexity to the game next week! 🙂

ProCodeCG – Darul Hikam – Coding Class – 31 Aug 2018

Our kids regular coding class at Darul Hikam every Friday is always so full of energy 😉 These kids are always excited to learn 🙂

 

Ozi came with several characters he created at home 🙂

Hanif was ready to explore GameMaker Studio. It is more detail and more advanced than the previous version of GameMaker, so it will take a while for us the get used to it 🙂

Daffa is getting more fluent at creating games 🙂 He learns new things each time and he’s more confident now 🙂

Our newcomer: Ezhar 🙂 He got the software pre-installed by the father and it helped him a lot to catch up 🙂

Arsa was very excited to continue his work but his computer was overheated and wouldn’t turn on so he had to join other students

Danen was very helpful as always

he and Captain on Duty: Capt. Bullitt helped to check the attendance list

Danen chose to learn Arduino programming today so Capt. Bullitt gave him assistance

Danen had successfully finished a blinking LED project 😉

Faisal is very quite yet very productive. He had made lots of progress with the games he’s making

Khalis looks happy all the time now, no whining and complaining 🙂 He’s very happy to be able to create characters and story of his own 🙂

Isma’ill had finished all the features for the Maze Game so he can move on the next game: Racing Car 🙂

Today Habbiel brought a laptop so he could catch up 🙂

In ProCodeCG classes, kids are encouraged to be creative and learn at their own pace. Each kid has an unique way to learn, at different speed and different ways of problem solving 🙂 The most important thing is that they learn and they’re being happy 🙂

ProCodeCG Kids Coding Camp – Minecraft Modding – Day #3

The last day of ProCodeCG Kids Coding Camp – Minecraft Modding 🙂

The kids were divided into teams and had to finish the challenges given 🙂

The challenge was to create these structures with JavaScript to be run on Spigot Server Minecraft:

1. Pyramid with alternate colors
2. Round skyscraper
3. Skyscraper with dancefloor
4. Half-circled stadium
5. Any structures different from the examples

Team 3 contained very young kids so they are allowed to create the structures manually 🙂
